Thomas Hoogwerkers en Ufkes Greentec bundelen hun krachten voor een sterke toekomst Merchtem, 26 November 2025 – Thomas Hoogwerkers en Ufkes Greentec slaan de handen in elkaar! Vanaf 1 januari 2026 wordt Thomas Hoogwerkers voortgezet onder de nieuwe naam Thomas & Ufkes BV. Met deze stap bundelen beide bedrijven hun jarenlange ervaring en innovatieve kracht om klanten nog gerichter en efficiënter te ondersteunen. De nieuwe organisatie is klaar om haar positie in België te versterken en de stap naar Wallonië en Frankrijk te zetten, terwijl Ufkes Greentec zijn sterke positie en merkidentiteit behoudt.

After a long wait, last week we finally drove the first pile into the ground for our new warehouse in Drachten! We are in the process of constructing a brand-new facility, specially designed to provide space for the storage of machines and parts. This expansion will not only create more capacity but also open up new opportunities to further optimize our service.

This week, Stadt Aachen, Germany, took delivery of their new Greentec Jaguar 40/80 6.5 tonnes chipper. Together with the delivery, we provided the Stadt Aachen team with the correct working instructions.

At Ufkes Greentec, all products, which are made in our own factory, are extensively tested before they are handed over to the customer. The Ufkes test centre ensures that the quality is guaranteed and the customer can use the machine as expected. All machines, from large to small, are subjected to a thorough test. Small and large wood chippers, wood chipper combinations but also stump grinders, forestcutters and three-point linkage machines, as well as wood cranes pass the test centre. The start of each test is a visual inspection of the machine. Parts, customer-specific wishes and options are optically checked. The outcome of this first stage is whether all parts are fixed and whether the machine is complete.

A nice delivery just before the weekend! Just before the weekend, Luchtenberg Boomzorg received his new Greentec Cheetah 30 fast traffic disc shredder. This 6.5 tons shredder has a FTG timber crane with an outreach of no less than 6.3 meters and is built on a sprung heavy tandem chassis. All functions of the shredder can be operated both manually and by remote control. This shredder is also equipped with a combi feed hopper for hand and crane infeed. The machine is designed according to the customer's wishes in an orange color scheme with black rims.
